(Éirinn go Brách)
Mar. 17th, 2008 03:18 pmI am in despair, I am cast down. Terry Pratchett has been diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's.
All is not lost and he thinks he has at least several more books in him, but contemplating - sooner than I anticipated - a world with no new Terry Pratchett books in it is a dismal thing indeed.
This is what comes from my falling in love with the books of a modern author. I much prefer discovering novelists when they are already dead.

Apparently I needed sleep. Nine-thirty to seven? Nice. Thank you, body. I love how you have a mind of your own.
I encountered an attitude this morning that surprised and upset me. Not that I should have been surprised; it's an oft-encountered one, at least in certain circles, but I didn't really expect to see it in mine. Interesting.
Everyone should go read A.A.Milne's Once Upon a Time.
Today will be a day containing much Hot Tea.
Bring on the snow.
