The pumpkin? Was totally awesome. Two apples, a pear, an orange (including zest),
raisins, vanilla, brown sugar, walnuts, and spices.

I will so have to try this. There are two pumpkins sitting on the porch that need to be used...what better excuse, I say!

I ended up baking it for about two hours - it made the inside perfect and the pumpkin edible, if not exactly soft.

That spoon makes me want to have tea with the Queen. I like that.

Now I'm wishing I'd taken the time to polish it before the picture.

O.O

RECIPE??? (Or is there one? Sounds like it may have been more of a "pinch o' this, splash o' that" type thing.)

The only really important part of my non-recipe is that I baked it for two hours or so. :) Other than that I just filled it with whatever fruit was available, and of course, butter, brown sugar, and spices. :)

I so want to try this! For the spices, I'm assuming cinnamon and/or nutmeg...anything else?

I think I added some allspice as well. Ginger would be good - maybe even some fresh grated?
