Yeah... just about the ONLY way you could pull that off is if you wore a brick red dress with hot pink patent pumps. But that's only recently become acceptable in the fashion world (and I'm thinking it won't last).

I think I saw some of that in the 80s, as well. As I recall, it died out rather quickly that time, too. Maybe, just maybe, it's a look that can be pulled off on the catwalk, but in everyday life? Indeed not.
