Hehe, I was trying to explain to Josh last night that you can't wear red and hot pink together, and he just wasn't getting it, until I put both colors on and he realized. :D

It's not as bad as the hot pink and red, but ... definitely not flattering on all but a very small minority. If anybody. =P

Yeah... just about the ONLY way you could pull that off is if you wore a brick red dress with hot pink patent pumps. But that's only recently become acceptable in the fashion world (and I'm thinking it won't last).

I think I saw some of that in the 80s, as well. As I recall, it died out rather quickly that time, too. Maybe, just maybe, it's a look that can be pulled off on the catwalk, but in everyday life? Indeed not.
