Tomorrow I'm leaving to go to the biggest Medieval Faire in the state, w00t! There shall be pirates! And barbarian battle reinactments! And lots of sharp pointy things, albeit peace-tied. And music! And food! 

Unfortunately, I think quite a lot of food. 

Erm. Anyway. Other than that, life is just bopping right along. Yay life!

I really love the huge roasted turkey legs you can get at ours. It's classic barbarian food, and very tasty!

Sadly, pirate attire is a little impractical for spending an entire day outside in damp, warm, and possibly muddy conditions. =P

What is unfortunate is either 1) the number of pounds I will gain from said food, or 2) the number of hours I will have to spend in the gym to burn the calories contained in said food.

Oooh, I love medieval faires. The Renn Fest comes to KC every year and I used to go with my brother and sister-in-law and a few others all dressed up. It was so much fun. Too bad I haven't been able to go for several years.
