Me: feeling much improved. I feel I might actually recover at some point in life after all.

Question to wistfulmaid: how feasible is it that I can wear hoops all day at work Thursday? Any special tricks I should know? (As for why, that's a long story, but I'm not one to turn down an excuse to go out in public dressed up oddly. I'm thinking about going out to eat in it just to watch people look at me funny.)

Weather: cold.

Library advice: Please don't underline in your library books. It takes me at least an hour of work to remove underlining from a book you particularly enjoyed, providing you had the decency to use a pencil in the first place.

Projects: It makes me feel unsettled knowing they are waiting, undone, for me, but on the other hand I got a lot of little nagging ones completed today. And that makes me feel better.

Tomorrow: we start the installation of our new windows!

Need: food. But I don't know what to have.

Why I ended up being pulled down the driveway on my rear by the dog: I sat down as a preventative measure. That is all. The driveway was ice, she saw the neighbor's dogs. I held onto my hat and off we went. Wheeee!

You know, it would be cool to have an icon that says that on it; you know, an animated text icon, like the one I'm using here. First frame "Writing on library books for the heck of it is like graffiti" and the second frame would have the rest. LOL

I'm not Catherine, but I can say that it would be feasible to wear a hoop all day. I just wish I had an excuse to wear mine more often. Just make sure that you remember to think ahead about the stairs you need to use. :-)

You actually have to inspect and correct any marks in a library book? You should charge a person like $5 if they do that. Kind of like how movie rental places would charge you that much if you bring back a VHS tape unrewound back in the day when there weren't DVD's.

I would think you'd be just fine!
um, I would practice sitting, and consider what sort of chair you'll likely have at your disposal whilst at work (you know, provided you might have an occasion to sit down ;-)

I may choose to spend rather a lot of the time standing up, lol. =) I don't seem to have too much trouble sitting, but sitting behind a desk I don't know about!

I get to feeling the exact same way when there are projects hanging over my head... hate it! But I find a to-do-list very comforting; I've come up with a technique where I get done what I can, cross them off with satisfaction, and then leave the rest on the paper (not on my mind) until I'm able to get around to them. After all, a girl can do only so much in a day, right? :)

To Do Lists are definitely my friend! I have one right now leading, in detail, all the way up to Dec. 30th. =)
