Things that make me happy:

-best friends that get it
-being a grown up
Things that confuse me:

-tax papers
-being a grown up
Things that amaze me:
-rose petals
-potatoes
-being a grown up
It's just wrong to have a younger brother--younger by seven years!--who weighs more than I do, is taller than I am, and can pick me up and carry me across the room. (Even when I'm shrieking put me down, you idiot! and hitting him over the top of the head.) I was his second mother. I changed his diapers, I fed him his first smashed peas, I held his hand when he learned to walk, I taught him to read. *scratches head* I grew up, but that doesn't mean everyone else gets to. Sheesh.
( Mo Williams is just about the greatest picture book author/illustrator ever. )

I love being an adult too. I know some people who seem to be really afraid of it, but man... in so many ways being an adult is so much more fun than being a child You finally get to be the person you want to be, and do the things you want to do! I love it.

Seriously, not fair. Not right! Younger brothers should never be allowed to be taller than their older sisters. Or not until they're 30.
