I want sunshine. *whinewhine* It's been consistently dull and sun-less for the past week, and it looks to contine for another week to come. This morning the sun came out for aproximently 7.5 seconds and I was pathetically happy.

I probably have vitamin D deficiency, just as [livejournal.com profile] savetheolives's mom predicted.

I need to get going and help my grandmother. She has macular degeneration and is rather quickly losing her sight, and in the last month she's finally let me help her with the grocery shopping. She's so darned independent that letting me help her with anything is a big step. She gets mad at my mom when she tries, so it's kind of become my job. I don't mind that much. It's frustrating, certainly, but I do like to help people, though it sure is easier when they appreciate it instead of being upset! Still, she's my grandmother, even though she's totally crushed me what seems like millions of times. You know, I really think she's helped to make me a much stronger person. It takes more to make me cry now.

Closing thought: I wonder what my friends are doing right now? Probably involving things with cooking, school, horses, and juvanile delinquints, respectively. (Poor Sarah! Lol. I simply can't imagine her being in charge of a group of JDs...)

This friend is being a lazy git... "Just a few more minutes on LJ before I clean the kitchen," -- repeat this phrase a dozen times and you'll get to see half a dozen Atkins ads in your Yahoo mailbox. Say it only once and mean it and you'll actually have a productive half hour.

Pathetic.

Btw, check out the new icon at literarymusings. I made it last night...and I like it. And you can't really tell, but that's part of the words to one of the Red Wine songs in the background--in Italian, naturally.

I could do something similar for you...?

Perhaps. ;-) I don't really have a heading in mind -- but I'ms ure you could think of a good one.

Btw, I found the cutest picture of Sicilian kids today. I'll have to make an icon out of one.

This friend woke up late and realized she had to leave for school in just an hour. This friend, although she should be getting ready, stopped to check her LJ first. :-D

What d'ya know, you guessed right! One friend, at least, spent the whole day with Muddy Horses, and will do the same tomorrow, and then hopefully on Friday this friend can write her friend back and look at her literarymusings journal again, at last. *wink and hug*
