Help me, I'm indecisive.

I've been invited to a home & garden party next week. I need to RSVP tonight. I can't decide whether to go.

Reasons to go:
-It would be fun to be around the other ladies from church
-food is involved!
-I might find some cute things to buy. (I've gotten some really nice things from other such parties.)

Reasons not to go:
-That's one of two nights of the week I actually have at home. Not that, if I were home, I would use the time wisely...
-I Hate. Those. Stupid. Games. They. Make. You. Play. The answering questions for play money. The fake little auctions. One a good day I only moderately tolerate and play along; if I'm having a bad day I will wind up quite antisocial.

Please help. I obviously don't feel strongly enough one way or the other to make up my own mind. You have two hours (before I leave work) to tell me what I should do!

Can you leave early if you decide you don't want to be there? I mean, within reason, of course.

I always hate deciding between going to things and not; but lately I've been just going. I haven't regreted it yet. I may not be in the best humor at the time, but afterwards I realize it wasn't so bad and I actually do like the connection I make with people (even if I did have to go through something like stupid party games).

If I were you, I'd probably go, but I always make sure I have exit plans if I need them. ;)

I was thinking of defaulting to going, just...because. I know it's good for me to have a social life now and then. =) Thanks for the imput.

I've always been naturally inclined to staying home before going out, but going out ain't so bad sometimes.

i would go. you might have fun, and if it's awful you can suddenly feel faint or something and rush home. ;)

well, you know how in jane austen they always say they feel faint when they want to get away? that's what i was thinking of...
