I'm getting completely ticked off at the local news on television. Instead of reporting news--shootings, bank robberies, and domestic disturbences--they spend most of their time acting like a information show. Last night they had tips for keeping kids from eating too much junk food (uhh, how about parents that say "no"?), how to examine yourself for skin cancer, how to install a smoke detector, and the best way to keep fruit from spoiling in the refrigerator. And oh, by the way, Michael Jackson was arrested today. And an even smaller by the way that yes, the President gave a speech today in London.
....Where, I found out, my friend Edith went a few years ago. I'm getting really envious of all my internationally traveling friends. Last week I found out that John is going to Israel, and Quinton is going to Rome. To study Roman law. In Rome. He's going to Rome for SCHOOL. Since when did 'umble law students get to go SPEND WEEKS IN ROME?! And John's already been to Australia, and Quinton to Russia--life is not fair. Not that I want to go to Australia or Russia or Israel...I just want to go to Rome. BIKKIT.
I'm going to go buy my Two Towers Extended Edition now. *extreme happiness* *can't wait to see more Eowyn* *Is purposely not mentioning Aragorn*
