Joie de vivre

I'm wearing my hair up today, in a slightly precarious twist of curls. I forgot to bring any extra bobby pins along to secure anything that may come loose during the day, and I've been fretting about that--I don't even have one spare bobby pin for emergencies!

Then I checked in some books, and one of them had a bobby pin used as a bookmark.

I feel much better now.
