In which the Pretend is overtaken by the Real

I miss some people that never even existed, except in my mind, and in the end I'm not so sure whether they were better company or not.

Sure, I know. Real is always more Real than Pretend, only Pretend is a lot more fun because you get to make up the rules as you go.

I just randomly discovered the whole thing yesterday, when I realized that I hadn't thought about him in such a long time that I could barely remember where we were. Kinda sad, when you think of where I've been focused instead...
