It was around 3:00 am, at a rest area in who-knows-where, and we suddenly found it very hilarious that they desired that Fido put out his cigar.

I love Hyperbole and a Half.  And if you aren't already reading it, you probably should. It's just about the funniest thing on the internet.

It's been quite a while since I read HP7 - the day after it came out, in fact - but I still remember this as being my favorite line from the entire book.

So I guess technically it's two lines. Whatever.

I was highly skeptical of a Daniel Craig Bond until I saw what they did with Casino Royale. love love love! this Bond. And I'm so happy they've finally gotten a release date out for the next one.

In a purely amateur manner, I'm very enamoured with architecture. This is a beautiful building in Puerto Rico - I loved the pattern of columns and arches.

I actually changed this icon a bit since myrna_nora  picked it ... different pose, but same event. :) It documents my favorite travel experience (so far): jumping off the White Sands dunes at sunnet at the end of a 10-day road trip adventure.

Hmm. I was interpreting that sign to mean that I shouldn't have any pets that were themselves smoldering--perhaps one that got too close to the barbecue grill?

If you have time to ICON ME, I'll see if I can post something this weekend. (That's a neat idea--a fun chance to to discuss things that have meaning some may not know about.)

P.S. I meant to steer away from thoughts of injured animals myself, and was only thinking of their fur slightly singed as if they backed a little too close to a radiator or something like that and then pulled away. I should have realized that the image was too close for comfort. My apologies.
