Okay, now this feels more like what we might have worn in the early eighties--at least the print portion of the dress could have been a summer dress. I'm not sure if such could be seen in the magazines, but it seems typical of the kind of dresses we might have sewn for ourselves--or found at garage sales.

I bought it at a thift store not too long ago, and when I picked it up I thought "vintage!" - but it's a by modern designer! I guess 80s-retro really is coming back.
