I read three books in three days: 1,584 pages exactly. I haven't done that much reading so quickly in years. Maybe never, since back when I routinelyy read a book a day, they weren't as large as the books I read now. And all because the college library (mistakenly?) gave me a due date of only four days after the day I checked them out, when it was supposed to be three weeks. Not sure what happened there. It was fun to see if I could do it, and I did, and now I feel slightly guilty for having spent the whole weekend reading, but I can catch up on everything else on my next days off. I think.

I'm starting to feel Gift Stress. I want to find fantastic and marvelous Christmas presents for my friends, and I usually end up short of time...and no matter what I find, I'm always a little nervous that they won't like it as much as I did, or it wasn't exactly what they wanted. Silly, I know. My friends aren't that materialistic.

I resolved some of it this morning, by going shopping before work. ; )

Seek and ye shall find!

Hey, guess what? Photobucket isn't blocked at the library anymore. Hurrah!

You must read as fast as I do! :) I'm a very fast reader and people are always amazed at me, lol.

I do read fast...people are constantly amazed that I actually comprehend books. But I did nothing else all weekend to get those three done: slept, ate, went to church, and read.

LOL, that sounds like me too! Sometimes I'll go to the library on Saturday, get a couple books, and have half of them read by Saturday night. ;)

You and me both, dear. Speaking of which- any idea what *you* want for Christmas? ;-)

Not that I'm guaranteeing it will be on time or anything.=P

Ooh! I love Christmas shopping. I think I have some kind of instinct that tells me people will like stuff. If I were rich, I'd be sending LJ pals stuff too. I keep seeing stuff that *looks like* certain people. Only I'm not rich...so, *thoughts of you are my gift to you* ha.

I feel the same way when I read like crazy. Only I shouldn't because I can all it research for my briliiant future writing career, HA!
