:::01 Person You Could Spend the Rest of Your Life With:::
1. Hopefully the perfect husband; barring that, with Hanunni in a villa in Italy (or that townhouse in NYC! Only 6 mil, think of that!)

The second...
Ten unknown/little known facts about you:

1. I love reading about the Mafia. Actually, I know upwards of ten names for the Mafia: Cosa Nostra, the Outfit, the Mob, the Family, Our Thing, the Gang, the Organization, the Syndicate....
2. I collect buttons, old maps, and books.
3. Right now I have on my walls two maps of Europe, and one each of North America, England, Italy, and Middle-earth.
4. I have a four foot high stack of Gourmet, Bon Appite, and Food and Wine magazines in my closet.
5. I used to write under the pen name "Corrine Clark" Ick!
6. I bought a laptop with a DVD player just so I could get the Lord of the Rings extended DVDs. ; ) (Well, ok, I needed the laptop anyway. But I gave up the opportunity for a CD burner for the DVD player!)
7. I can't stand the sound of people chomping on popcorn during the quiet parts of a movie.
8. I have freckles on my toes
9. I own about eleven books printed before or shortly after 1900. (Most with my great-grandparents names inscribed on the inside cover!)
10. I can't stand the smell of beets.

The third...
What is your favorite flower? Deep red roses. This will probably tell you a great deal about me...

What is your earliest memory? Sliding down our cellar door in the hill country.

What do you most like to touch? A tie between old books and hair

Name three sounds that make you shiver. Lonesome sounds like owls hooting and wolves. And certain songs. And mockingbirds.

What is your favourite sandwich? Cheese on french bread. Oh, wait--now I remember those marvelous "Anna's Sandwitches" eaten ONLY on the boat in Florida. Gosh, sometimes I really miss those days.

name seven [how about three?] words you like to say: Serandipity, aficianado, and inconcievable. As in, "He didn't FALL? Inconcievable!"

What were your childhood pets? A cat named Shadow, which I barely remember. And various fish...then, later, cats named Chopin, Beethoven, and Ferdinand, although not all at once. Now I have no cats. =\ Just a lovable dog named Goldie and her year old pup named Hollë.

Three adjectives that describe you: changable, non-conformist, and a dreamer.

If you were an 'inanimate' object, name three objects you might be: Hm...a Terry Pratchet book ; ), a painting of a woman, or a map of mysterious places.

Fabrics you like to touch: Silk, the kind mens dress shirts are often made of; velvet, and that lovely soft lambs wool that some of my sweaters are made of.

Fabrics you like to wear: Um, the above. And cool, crisp cotton.

Favourite weather: Sunshine, but not too hot. Just pleasantly warm. That or a good thunderstorm, which inspires my passionate, artistic side. (But no tornados PLEASE!)

Show me something, anything, in detail: Staring at me from across the room is one of my bookshelves, the one I've piled my "books I own but haven't read yet." They are stacked several deep, waiting to be read; mostly old books with muted colors of red and brown and blue, some with ornately lettered titles in gold, some small plain black writing. A thin burnt orange one, a Shakespeare play, sits neatly on top of a paperback of Doctor Thorne, which in turn is on top of a green Alexander the Great. Someday I'll get them all read. ; )

And the last!
Because I like surveys, and this is a more clever one then usual. ; )

A - Age you Act: Depends on the day. Now--sort of old. Yesterday--very, very young. Tomorrow--who knows.
B - Born on what day of the week: Wednesday, I think. It means I'm "full of woe." Yikes. That's why I don't like superstitious things like that: they always portend badly for me.
C - Chore you hate: taking out the bucket of food scraps from the kitchen. Ick. Usually my brothers get to do it. ; ) I'm not fond of cleaning bathrooms, either, but I do it.
D - Dad's name? John. How interesting. Why do they put these questions in?
E - Essential makeup item? Um. Mascara isn't essential, but I feel much nicer with it. I guess my green-to-camouflage-red stick. It works wonders on me almost every day. =D I can wake up in the morning, look in the mirror, go "YIKES", use this stuff and then feel good about how I look. It's amazing.
F - Favorite actor? I could be mean and say Viggo Mortensen, but actually I only like him as Aragorn, so....um....I don't have any real favorite, I guess. Well, maybe Cary Grant.
G - Gold or silver? Silver. Always. The thought of it weird, but I think I'm going to have to go for some sort of silver colored metal for a bridal set. I love gold wedding rings, but it'll drive me crazy for the rest of my life to have it clashing with all my silver stuff.
H - Hometown? Um. A tiny town in Texas. Sort of a dying town now, I think, but we left before it got sad.
I - Instruments you play? Piano. A tiny amount of guitar, sort of.
J - Job title? Secretary/moondust maker. And whatever people ask me to do, including smelling fox pelts to make sure they "don't smell bad."
K - Kids? Um, ok. What about kids? I have none of my own (yet. Marriage first. Thank you.), I teach six five year olds, I just got asked to babysit one, which I declined, and I have two kid brothers. lol. I like kids, yes, although in most cases I prefer to call them children.
L - Living arrangements? In a villa. Bwaha. Or in that nice Italianate NYC townhouse. That's my dream living arrangement...
M - Mom's name? Miriam, aka Mim (who, incidentally, is a dwarf in the Silmarillion). Most of the time we don't remember that she's really Miriam.
N - Number of people you've slept with? I HATE these questions. Because literally, I've slept with tons of people, including my best friends, my mother, my grandmother, and the bratty girls of SSG. Of course, the question isn't literal, so that answer looks reeeaaaally odd. Slept with, as in guys, none. Ever. Why couldn't the question have been "Number of eyes you have," or "Number of books you've read," or "Number of animals you own"??
O - Overnight hospital stays? None. Yet. I hope never.
P - Phobia? Bwaha, quite a lot. Not being able to breathe is a big one. Along with choking, and Scary Diseases.
Q - Quote you like? Just one? Awww. This isn't my favorite, but it's my newest: "Psychologically I'm very confused, but personally I feel just wonderful."
R - Religious affiliation? I'm a Christian.
S - Siblings? Two brothers, the House Cows.
T - Time you wake up? Right now around 7:30, usually. Although this morning it was 5:45, which was irritating because I didn't need to be up til 6:30.
U - Unique habit? Well, I have to have my seat right in the car before I start driving, but I always forget to adjust the mirrors.
V - Vegetable you refuse to eat? Beats. GARH. Very nasty, smell VERY BAD.
W- Worst habit? Fearing needlessly.
X - X-rays you've had? No accidental X-rays (and none on purpose, either), although I did have blood drawn for no reason once. Stupid doctor.
Y - Yummy food you make? Mmmm. Homemade pasta, pizza, Italian bread, foccacia, granitas...can you tell what I like to eat?
Z - Zodiac Sign? Cancer, but I don't like it because I hate the disease and besides, I don't follow the zodiac anyhow. (Except that it's interesting how it illustrates--very simply--the gospel. I forget exactly how it goes, but Quinton reminded me of it the other day. It starts with Virgo (the virgin) and ends with...I think...the Lion (Christ triumphant). It's all part of how God said he would "set his sign in the stars" or something like that. Sorry, I forgot most of it.)
