Bah. We had about two glorious days of fall, and then the horrible icky grey coolness that I hate. I hate my fingers being freezing, which they always seem to be when it's cold. I hate brown--brown leaves, brown grass, brown tree trunks. I MISS THE SUN. Sunshine makes me happy. It brings Joy. Sometimes I think sunlight is nessisary for me to be joyful.
Good things, which I will remind myself to try to cheer up: Vanilla Pepsi is yummy. (Tastes just like my vanilla candles smell. Fancy that.) There are oreos with mint filling hidden in the pantry, and I know where they are. (YUM.) The other week at the doctor I weighed exactly one pound more then I did the last time I was in, three and a half years ago. That's...amazing. Since I don't try.
Y'know, sometimes I look around me and go wow, I'm really HERE and it's so beautiful and I should never, ever be unhappy and sometimes I look around and go, How did I manage to get stuck HERE and how soon can I get AWAY?
Ending on a cryptic note (courtesy of Henry Vaughan):
I saw Eternity the other night
Like a great ring of pure and endless light,
All calm, as it was bright,
And round beneath it, Time in hours, days, years,
Driven by the spheres,
Like a vast shadow moved, in which the world
And all her train where hurled."
Perhaps
equuschick will know where I just read that?
