I used to be a great alliterationist

If you like, comment on this entry and get a letter. Write ten words beginning with that letter, including an explanation of what the word means to you and why.
sir_flute gave me the letter 'P'.
01. Perfectionist: something I've been accused of being, to my surprise. Perhaps in certain parts of life.
02. Parrot: something I think my favorite saint would have...?
03. People: I have mixed feelings about them.
04. Poetry: I like some of it. I should read more of it.
05. Personality: I wish I knew if other people liked mine.
06. Penelope: something I would never name my daughter. (Also something I pronounce in my head as PEN-a-lope, and have to think about the correct way to say it before I speak.)
07. Pratchett, Terry: Best British humourist evah. Or at least of this century, because there are a lot of other British humourists I love (who are mostly older and Dead).
08. Pippi: As a girl I loved Pippi Longstocking; then I grew up and loved Pippi DeLena.
09. Patrons, library: definitely have mixed feelings about these, too. I love some of 'em. Some of them are insane. And a few are the dregs of humanity.
10. Photography: something I love to do, provided it's digital.

Date: 2006-05-05 12:02 am (UTC)You will like Pratchett, I think, but don't expect anything like Sayers or Wodehouse. Don't expect anything like anybody else at all, actually. He's not.
To you, O Fair One, I give the charming and snake-like letter 'S'. *bestows it*
