Car shopping, day two

Well looky, looky! This is much more what I had in mind, frankly. It's a little older than the Focus but actually has less miles -- and also cheaper tags and insurance. It's once again the luxury version of the model, and has pretty much everything that the Focus does except, sadly, a sunroof. I test drove it, and it is good. It's much more the body style I prefer. The leather seats feel just like the ones in my old car, comfy.



Miss ruthette, your box arrived today! Thank you ever so much! I have quite a dilemma, however, in deciding which book to start first. Thank you for including Beowulf, I'm very excited about that one! (Which reminds me, have you read The Song of Roland?) I shall take excellent care of the babies and not read them in the bath, nor carry them with me and let them bang about in my copious purses, nor drip coffee on their pages.

Ooh! Purely for look's sake, I like this one better than the focus. :-)

You're going to read Beowulf, eh? Have you read it before? We had to read that as well as The Song of Roland for Western Civ. I.

Y'know, sunroofs are the epitome of coolness, of course, but I've found that I actually rarely use mine. It always seems to be either too hot or too cold to open it, or it's the middle of the day and the sun glares straight down on the top of my head, or it makes so much noise I can't hear my music. Hehe
