On Waiting

One of the harder things in life for me to do is wait. If there's something I could be doing to further whatever the cause is, I want to do it...get the ball rolling, get the project started, get whatever it is going on the track I think it should go.

But sometimes I'm called to just sit back and wait. Whether waiting for God or waiting for another person, sometimes it's important that I not take over.

God is a good Teacher.

Man, I hear ya. I think that's the lesson God has me on right now, and I'm not making very good grades so far. :\

*hugs*

Amen to that. And thank you. :)

I'm not exactly going through intense patience training like the above commenters but I've been through enough to know that waiting isn't easy. And yes, God is an amazing Teacher - we just wish His lessons weren't so hard. ;-)

And why is Firefox trying to tell me that commenters is an incorrect spelling?

Pretty much... I'm the same way. I think I've flunked this course numerous times, so I keep getting held back.
I'm glad He is a patient teacher.

Patience is hard for me too. I think I've learned to be a lot better about it over the last few years though. We just have to trust in God and not in ourselves and our own plans. Everything works out for the good in the end.

Growing up in this internet culture and fast food everything is not helping. We want whatever and we want it right now! ;)

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the matter, I'm sure others have/will find it encouraging too. :D
