We live in the same house ... I think

Conversation last night with mum:

"You forgot to change your alarm from 5:30 to 6:30 this morning."

"Huh?"

"Your alarm. It went off at 5:30."

"Yeah, that's when I get up."

"Oh." 

"I've gotten up at the same time for a year and a half, mom." 

"Are you sure it's not 6:30?"

"Pretty darn sure, mom."

trip tidbits

One of the dumbest things I did while on vacation was setting my purse, open, in an automatic airport sink. Y'know, you wave your hand in front of it, and water appears? That kind. Yeah. Purses will activate it too, just so you know. They also hold an amazingly large amount of water.

And on my way back home I thought, quite logically, that although I was at what I knew was the Denver airport, I was in Texas. Denver, Texas. Maybe on the way up I was in Dallas, Colorado. Who knows.
