I've always wanted a black cat, too! This little one I rescued from the side of the road (people dump a lot of unwanted animals off on this road, as it's rather rural. =\) She's a real sweetheart, and entirely black except for 1) one white whisker, 2) white ear-hairs, and 3) a patch of about five white hairs on her shoulder. Cutie!

And her eyes are beautifully golden. Half the time the only way I can find her is by her eyes, since she blends in to the shadows so well!

Awww! I love how Goldy's in the middle of a lick. The question is, did she get you? ;-) (I won't ask where.... ;-)) I sometimes wish my dog would be more of a licker...but them most of the time I'm glad I can count on one hand the number of times he's licked me. LO

Mutt. :) Although the vet guesses part Alaskan husky (her hair is currently trimmed for the summer; during winter she's twice as large as she looks now) and part wolf. o_O
