A Sunday Picture Post in Which I Try Out my Pirate Shirt Early

I'm working on convincing the guys to make me a sword for the 19th. Er, yo ho ho and a bottle of rum and all that.

Hagen soaking up the sun on my bed.

A lady pirate shirt, some pirate bling, and a quirky attitude.

I LIKE pirate bling.

As does the Hagen-cat.

Here, let me kiss you.

Eww! People kisses! (Notice the catly disgust.)

We shall glower together instead. Argh!

Hagen looks so much bigger? Kittens are deceiving in size, yes. Sometimes my little Pebbles Ann (gosh, that name is absurd) looks quite the mature cat and then the next minute she's a little, summersault-turning kitten.

I am very much enjoying the lady pirate shirt and pirate blind. Arrr!

Pirate blind, hahaha.

Blind from the rum, perhaps?

Hagen has gotten a lot bigger in the last month. No more skin and bones kitty! But he's still very much a kitten...I don't want him to grow up too fast. I'll miss the kitten stage!

I also spelled somersault like wrongly, so I'm not sure if I can blame pirates or rum.

Our other cat, Cricket Josephine, did exactly that growing-up-too-fast thing. That's one reason I really wanted to keep Pebbles, even though our original intention was to give away all the kittens we rescued.

Without the 'like.'

I give up.

You look gorgeous! I like the pirate shirt.

*pat pat* There, there, it's quite okay.

[identity profile] eattheolives.livejournal.com 2006-09-03 10:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Why, thank 'ee. I like it too.

[identity profile] ransomedsea.livejournal.com 2006-09-03 10:50 pm (UTC)(link)
-sniff, sniff- Thank you.

[identity profile] tosayhello.livejournal.com 2006-09-04 12:15 am (UTC)(link)
You're so graceful! You could be a ballerina!

[identity profile] eattheolives.livejournal.com 2006-09-04 01:32 am (UTC)(link)
I'm probably too tall now anyway - note last post. *sniff sniff* I LIKED being short!

[identity profile] tosayhello.livejournal.com 2006-09-04 02:53 am (UTC)(link)
How did you grow? I'd like to know.

[identity profile] eattheolives.livejournal.com 2006-09-04 01:36 pm (UTC)(link)
I'd like to know too, so I could prevent it from happening again. *frown*

I love how big kittens' ears are in proportion to the rest of their body. Like they could be airborne at any moment. ;)

That shirt is perfect. Quite swashbuckling, if I do say so myself. =D

[identity profile] eattheolives.livejournal.com 2006-09-05 03:13 am (UTC)(link)
Swashbuckling is a word I like. =)

Yeah - Dumbo the Kitten! Lol. And his ears are so expressive, too. Who needs words when one can convey it all in a flick of the ear?

Nice pirate outfit! And cute kitten! I want a cat! :-)

But cute.
