practicality

Last night after I hung up I realized that theroretically I could pick up and go to Europe--next year, next month, next week. I have money. Time off could be dicey, but I could get it. My boss wouldn't stop me from going; she'd probably call it professional development and ask me to buy things for the culture box. My parents would be worried but wouldn't stop me. If I really wanted to, nothing could stop me. I could get online right now and order plane tickets and book hotel rooms. Three days from now I could be sitting in a trattoria in Rome drinking wine.

So why don't I?

I should like to point out, that if the above is true of a trip to Europe, its also true of a trip to Indiana. *hinthint* ;-)

That is an excellent idea! Wish I had that kind of chance... Dunno if I'll ever see Europe! :-|

Because you have to wait for me, and I don't nearly have the money for it, yet!

Seriously, if you go to Europe after September of this year, let me know if you want a travel companion! Because I'm saving up, and should have some vacation time by then. One of my dreams is to go to Europe with some girlfriends! I'm sure we could rope other girls into going with us. :-)
