Let's see here. What about The Wallflowers? They'd be sorta similar. Their first CD, Bringing Down the Horse, really is pretty good. Good ol' 90s radio music. If I go down the more "folksy" road, you could end up with The Jayhawks (they have an album called Smile that is rather good). Big Star, R.E.M. for more classics. Uh... Wilco? Early Wilco; the later stuff gets electronic. I don't know if you like that. Semisonic is also along that line of Train and the rest. They have an album called Feeling Strangely Fine that is good. The Lightning Seeds' album Dizzying Heights is good, but maybe a bit of a stretch. It's more Beatles-esque.
